What shall we study next?  That’s the nicest question in CBS but not always the easiest to answer! We suggested that people look at the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, 1 and 2nd Samuel, Acts and Ephesians.  Two weeks later we came together again and Ton, a retired physicist, asked if he could give a report on all the books.  He had read all the books right through. Which ones would be good to study as a group in the future? Genesis and Exodus were no good; “too much history and nothing to learn from that. Maybe Ephesians had some potential because Paul has some pretty good things to say.

But by far the best book to study in the future would be the book of Leviticus.  The precise way God described life for the Israelites, how to do everything so carefully.  He thought that we could learn from that!

Well…. in the end, we decided to do the book of Acts.  But there is something to learn from every book of the Bible and Leviticus has much to teach us all.  Each book of the Bible speaks to each person in a different way!  What a wise God we have! Leviticus…maybe next!
